Our booking terms & conditions

A non-refundable booking payment of £250.00 is payable in order to secure the booking. The remaining balance is due before the wedding date. A payment reminder will be sent at the start of the week leading up to the wedding. The remaining balance is due at this point. Filming will not commence until the full balance has been paid. Payment can be made via online transfer the account details will be messaged to you via email.

 

In making a booking payment to us you are instructing us to commit our services to you on your wedding date and as such agreeing to our terms and conditions of service below.

In the event of cancellation or postponement; if the booking in cancelled or postponed within 1 month of the wedding date, at the time of cancellation or postponement the client will liable to pay the full remaining balance. 1- 4 months = 75% of the remaining balance and 4-6 months = 50% of the remaining balance.

Please take out wedding insurance to cover you in the event of unforeseen postponement or cancellation.

​

In the event that more than one client wishes to book wedding services on the same day, preference will go to the first client to pay the booking payment. 

​

Piece of Time Media will be the exclusive professional videographer. Friends and family are permitted to operate video cameras on the condition that they do not interfere with or get in the way of the professional coverage.

​

It is the client's responsibility to secure access to areas for videography. Piece Of Time Media will not be responsible for coverage lost due to access restrictions. 

Creative aspects such as shooting and editing style are at the discretion of Piece Of Time Media. We will deliver a finished product that meets the style and format of our previous work and in making a booking with Piece Of Time Media there is a mutual understanding that we will produce a finished product for you that is consistent with that style.

 

Any reasonable changes that are requested within 14 days of delivery ie: removal of a specific shot or person or change in music, we will endeavour to make these changes where possible. Any additional changes out with this period, may incur additional charges for post production time.

Music tastes will be asked for at the time of booking to get a general feel for the music that you like and along with the music heard throughout the day we will work with music on your full edit that suits the tone of the day and edit along with your tastes. For the highlights, we must work with copyright cleared music and have access to a wide selection. We will again work with something that suits your edit and feel of the day and in general would expect to retain creative control in this respect.

Although we will deliver the completed film asap after the wedding we advise this can take up to 12 weeks. We will deliver your finished project on an online gallery and USB. Your online gallery will be available for no less than 12months. We would encourage you to download your files. The USB will be guaranteed for the same period.

Piece Of Time Media will not be held liable for any production problems beyond our control, e.g. adverse weather, accidents, road congestion/closure or motoring incidents, closure of wedding venue, poor acoustics/lighting, interference from guests, technical malfunctions, ferry cancellations or delays.

Piece Of Time Media reserves the right to terminate this contract at any time for any reasonable cause, e.g. accident or ill health. In this event all monies paid will be refunded in full.

Any liability on the part of Piece Of Time Media will be limited to the amount of monies paid.

​

Upon taking possession of the finished product, the client must inform Piece Of Time Media of any technical or other problems with the product within 14 days. After 14 days, if no notification has been received, the client will be deemed to be satisfied with the product.

Copyright will be owned by Piece Of Time Media and as such duplication is prohibited.

                                                                                     COVERAGE

​

'Full Feature' 

​

The Full Feature package covers from guests arrival, ceremony, photo call, speeches and first 3 dances with a highlights edit. Coverage will end at the conclusion of the third dance. If events run in a different order in which this is not the final event or the first dance is at 9pm or later, additional coverage will need to be purchased if wanted.

Bridal Preparations

​

Bridal preparations consists of an approximate one hour visit at a single location on the morning of the booked wedding date, pre ceremony. If preparations are taking place at a separate location to the wedding ceremony, an additional operator may need to be purchased by the client should you wish for someone to stay with you until you leave the location. We need to be at the ceremony venue no later than 60 minutes before the ceremony start time.

Extended Evening coverage

​

Filming will be extended to be on site for one hour from the point of the first dance, and be on site no later than 10pm.

​

Guest Messages

​

We will set up the guest messages service between the end of the meal and conclude approximately 10 minutes before the first dance commences. It is strongly advised for the client to make friends, family and the bridal party aware that this is taking place on the night. We will endeavour to get s many contributions as possible but cannot guarantee participation by your wedding party if they are so inclined.

Drone Coverage

​

Drone coverage is weather dependant and at the discretion of the operator on the day. If the conditions are deemed unsuitable or unsafe ie: strong gusts or persistent wind or rain then it may not be possible to fly. If you have selected a dedicated drone operator to be on site during the day, we will asses the forecast in the lead up to the wedding. If the short term forecast is looking favourable then coverage will continue as planned. If it is looking strongly unfavourable you will have the option to a) cancel the drone operator at no cost. b) Delay the coverage at a reduced cost (location dependant) to capture establishing location/venue shots at another time. Or c) proceed with the operator on understanding that coverage may not be possible on the day.
